Ravioli PressesA ravioli press is a smooth, simple, and precise way to make perfect ravioli every time. Roll out the dough to your desired thickness, place the dough over the press, and then carefully (to avoid ripping the pouch) stretch the dough down into the pouch indentation. This is easier if the dough is slightly warm. Alternatively, you can put the filling in the pouch and let heat, weight, and pressure do the work for you. Be careful, though; with the filling in you can't apprehend flaws or weaknesses in the pouch's hull. Once the filling is in position, using a calm and steady hand, roll a rolling pin over the ravioli press. This cuts the raviolis. Install the back dough and the final piece and you are ready to cook your assembled ravioli. This contraption is easy for the beginner to master, and no shame for a master to begin using! Show the people you love that you do, in fact, love them with a steaming plate of love-ravioli. |
